Dating from around the 17th century, Maison La Roque is a stone built house sitting below the chateau near the top of the village.

The house is very spacious and set over two floors. Upstairs there are four bedrooms and three bathrooms, two of which are en-suite. There are four double beds (two of which can be separated into singles beds), and additional small bed and a cot. Downstairs there is a breakfast room and a living room with an open fire, games, widescreen TV with a CD/DVD player. There is a library that has French and English novels, reference books, dictionaries, maps and local information and a large dining room with an ajoining fully equipped modern kitchen containing an American fridge freezer, oven, microwave, dishwasher and large hob. In addition there is a utility room with cleaning equipment, a washing machine, tumble dryer and additional bathroom with toilet and shower. The front door leads into a large vestibule for coats and shoes. Outside there are three south facing terraces accessed from french doors, and a small swimming pool.

If you need to stay in touch, you can connect your laptop to our broadband ADSL using ethernet in the living room and library or via WiFi.

Unfortunately we have no wheelchair access and guests should be confident negotiating some narrow stone stairs. There are also some low beams so please mind your head.

During the winter it can get cold at night. We have some central heating but you need to be confident and able to light an open fire and wood burning stove.

Smoking is not allowed inside the house. Well behaved pets are allowed, but please check beforehand.
