The House

Dating from around the 17th century, Maison La Roque is a stone built house sitting below the chateau near the top of the village. Parts of the house have recently been refurbished, and new pictures will be added to this site very soon.

The accommodation is very spacious and sleeps nine people in comfort. Upstairs there are four bedrooms and three bathrooms. Downstairs there is a breakfast room and a living room with an open fire, games, widescreen TV and a CD/DVD player; a library that has French and English novels, reference books, dictionaries, maps and local information; a very large family and dining room with an ajoining fully equipped modern kitchen; and a utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer. Outside there are four terraces, palm tree and new small swimming pool, and a garden on the lower level.


If you need to stay in touch, you can connect your laptop to our broadband ADSL using ethernet or WiFi/Airport.

Unfortunately we have no wheelchair access and guests should be confident negotiating some narrow stone stairs. There are also some low beams so please mind your head.

Smoking is not allowed inside the house.
